Concept

Inspired by the atmospheric realism of Makoto Shinkai, this film blends grounded slice-of-life drama with high-fantasy surrealism. It explores the feeling of being “stuck” and the ambiguity of loss. It is a visual journey from the claustrophobia of a rainy city to the liberation of the open world.

Execution

The “Grounded Reality” segments utilized strict descriptive prompting and character sheets to maintain high-fidelity consistency. Conversely, the “Dream Sequences” employed a Creative Brief approach, allowing the AI to freely interpret high-speed, surreal transitions.

Director’s Note

The core challenge was harmonizing two distinct AI behaviors. I used “Descriptive Control” to ground the audience in the character’s loneliness, and “Generative Hallucination” to visualize her emotional liberation. This project proves that different models can be cast like different actors—one for discipline, one for raw expression—to serve a single narrative arc.
